Your assistance needed please

There are many ways in which members can play an active role towards SAVES' aims. Requests for assistance have been canvassed in previous editions of The VE Bulletin. Please consider offering your support for the society, as it is currently understaffed. There are vacancies for a minutes secretary and membership officer. This database management is currently undertaken by Honorary Treasurer. There is also assistance needed for dispatch of the VE Bulletin, and transport of the SAVES display. Those who are interested in offering support may wish to find out more by meeting with a member of the executive. Please contact the Honorary Secretary on 8379 3421

Lawyers too can provide invaluable assistance. On occasion it is necessary for SAVES to seek legal opinion on a range of issues. We would appreciate it if lawyers who are members of the society would nominate for occasional professional advice or opinion. Your help will be much appreciated.

Doctors and nurses are sometimes sought by journalists as contacts for comment on pertinent voluntary euthanasia matters. These requests are increasing. Are you willing to be a spokesperson for the movement? A comprehensive information pack will be provided.

If doctors, nurses and lawyers are willing to offer their expertise, please contact Mary on 8264 3548 or Frances on 8336 8994.
