SAVES has been advised of the closure of the SE Area Group. Travelling time and other constraints took their toll on the viability of the group. SAVES has received a cheque of $644.26 from funds raised by the group and were pleased to use this to purchase the T-shirts and banner which were used on the Australia Day march. These items will also be invaluable for future occasions. Residual funds also contributed to the pre-election mail out of information on candidates supportive of voluntary euthanasia. We very much appreciate this group's support towards achieving law reform.
