It has become apparent that some opponents
of law reform have complained to libraries hosting the mobile display.
These complaints can be unsettling for library staff who may then find
it easier to refuse requests to host it. Other options have been to compile
a comprehensive list of publications opposing voluntary euthanasia and
attaching this to the display.
We ask that SAVES members and supportive
members of the general public show appreciation and support to libraries
providing a public information service by hosting the display. Members
may even approach their local library with a request to host the display,
given that voluntary euthanasia is a matter of current legislation and
debate.
