who we are

The South Australian Voluntary Euthanasia Society (SAVES) was established in 1983 to advocate for legal voluntary euthanasia.

SAVES is an NGO registered under South Australian law, a charity registered under the Australian Charities and Not for Profit Commission (ACNC) and has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status with the Australian Tax Office.

All SAVES activity is managed and undertaken by volunteers.

Voluntary Euthanasia law reform is state legislation. SAVES was formed to lobby, campaign and advocate in South Australia for the health benefits of legal voluntary euthanasia.
